RETINOL PLUS - LIFT SP _ AMINOGENESIS

Retinol Plus Review 2/8/2009

OverviewRetinol Plus is one of many anti-aging serums found on the cosmetic market these days. This particular treatment is manufactured by Paradise Skin Products (started by Susan Hoover, a registered nurse and esthetician); a skin care company that claims to “produce only the purest skin treatments.” The goal of Paradise Skin Products is to produce the “most natural and therapeutic products for the skin,” hence leaving your face young and radiant. This company claims to extract all impurities from the components of their products on a “molecular level.” This supposedly leads to a more effective product with minimal irritation.

As with most new-age skin care treatments, Retinol Plus incorporates active ingredients such as Retinol/Glycolic Acid Polymer Complex (exfoliates dead skin cells), D-beta-fructan (assists with moisture retention), D-beta-glucosamine (strengthens skin) and Aminoguanidine (boosts collagen levels). Retinol Plus is basically composed of a potent retinol (Vitamin A), in addition to Alpha Hydroxy Acids. In corporation with one another, these active ingredients are said to improve the overall texture and appearance of facial skin through increasing collagen and elastin, while renewing skin tissue. The end result should be fewer fine lines, crow’s feet and wrinkles. This anti-wrinkle serum is marketed toward middle aged/aging women with normal to “resilient” skin types. Retinol Plus sells for $66 per ounce via the official Paradise Skin Products website.

Product DetailsRetinol Plus is an anti-aging treatment serum that endeavors to battle common age afflictions such as facial wrinkles and loss of collagen. This product is intended primarily for women with normal to resilient skin types. Retinol Plus utilizes active ingredients such as Retinol/Glycolic Acid Polymer Complex (exfoliates dead skin cells), D-beta-fructan (assists with moisture retention), D-beta-glucosamine (strengthens skin) and Aminoguanidine (boosts collagen levels). This treatment serum is directed to be used at night after cleaning the skin. Initially Retinol Plus should only be used every other night or until your skin adapts to it.

Other ingredients found in Retinol Plus are as follows; Distilled Water (Aqua), Hamamelis Extract (Hamamelis Virginiana), Ethyl Alcohol and Xanthan Gum.

LIFT SP - AMINOGENESIS

The Truth about Retinol Plus - Is Retinol Plus a Scam?
I started this little blog to share my experiences with different anti-aging methods. Believe me, I have tried almost everything out there, including Retinol Plus.

Results were nothing miraculous. Yes, there has been a slight firming effect, and I feel it was a good moisturizer. I would not call it a scam, but I wanted more. I started googling, stumbled onto something...and this is me now:

Step 1: Get a free 30-Day Sample of Lift SP

Step 2: Get a free 30-Day Sample of AminoGenesis

So following my frustration with Retinol Plus, I did some googling and found some great reviews about two cutting-edge anti aging creams.

The first one has been featured all over television and is a well known product called Lift SP. The second product is one that I heard about after is was named 2008 Skin Care Product of the Year, and it is called AminoGenesis. When I was doing my research, I found out both companies offer free trials of their products, so I decided to order a sample of both to see what would happen if I combined them and used them on alternating days...and the rest is history. (along with over half the wrinkles I used to have. Haha.) You can read the rest of my story below.

How I decided on these 2 products.
I chose to try the Lift SP because:

- It was created by a board certified plastic surgeon.
- This product has a very good reputation worldwide.
- It's free to try... I think I paid a couple dollars to ship it.
- It is HEALTHY, and ALL NATURAL
And in the end, I decided to try the AminoGenesis because:

- They are also offering a Free Sample for $3.95 Shipping.
- It was named 2008 SKIN CARE PRODUCT OF THE YEAR!
- It decreases facial lines, increases skin firmness and skin density.
- It flushes pores, tightens skin, moisturizes, and stimulates blood circulation.

Again, this was not some amazing feat. I simply did a little research on the web and found two skin revitalization products that worked for other people. I decided to get a free trial of both of them and see what happened if I used both, on alternating days. I used the Lift SP first and I was really amazed. When I washed it off and looked in the mirror, I could already see the lines beginning to fade. About an hour later it looked like 5 years had melted off my face. I decided that since it is so powerful I would only use it twice a week. But the secret to my method is I use the AminoGenesis on the other 5 days a week - it keeps me from having bags under my eyes and continually helps to smooth out my complexion. At first I couldn't believe it, I thought I was hallucinating, or seeing a weird placebo effect or something. But it has been 6 months since I got my first free trial, and I look younger than I have in 10 years.

How Lift SP & AminoGenesis Changed My Life.
It is kind of hard for me to talk about, but I began to get really self-concious about my appearance around my 45th birthday -I got kinda depressed about getting (and looking) older. I just didn't feel as confident in my looks as I used to. I even actually began looking into different surgical procedures (facelift, botox, etc) to try and turn the clock back a few years. I know I am only 45 but I feel that I have aged prematurely - due mostly to smoking for over 15 years.

So anways, when I hit my mid 40's I really went through a period of feeling over the hill and less attractive. Many of my friends even noticed but didn't say anything about it. So how did it end? There was no intervention - no lightbulb moment prompting me to accept my aging face and body. I just got lucky.

It was about 4 months ago when I placed my initial order for the Lift SP and the AminoGenesis Cream. I was so excited because both of these products cost over $150 total, but I got 30 Day Samples of both for less than $10 total. I was excited about having not one, but two skin rejuvenators to try. But I had already tried a few other skin products in the past, so I was really skeptical about whether or not I would see results. But, I figured since both products offered a free trial I didn't have anything to lose. I thought of it as a $10 experiment. Here is how I justified it to myself:

- They both offer free samples.
- They both got great reviews from trustworthy sources.
- People were reporting amazing results from using Lift SP alone.
- I wanted to LOOK YOUNG, and I wanted to do it SAFELY & NON-SURGICALLY.
But honestly, I have to admit that it was the free trials that sold me. I never would have thought couple of freebies could actually make me look younger than some people who spend hundreds and thousands on cosmetic surgery.

Aloha,
This is Susan Hoover the founder of Paradise Skin Products. I have a couple of comments on your search for the perfect Anti-aging product. It does exist, but it is found in our Intense Wrinkle Serum. This product has an unique blend of the strongest known antioxidants and polypeptides that produce collagen. Using this product with Beautiful Eyes plus will tighten under the eyes and decrease wrinkles by 62% in 12 weeks. The key with all of the vitamins you can apply topically to the skin is that you have to prep the skin with a proper pH balanced cleanser and toner. Studies show that if you don't you will impede the absorbtion. We know these products work. We have tested them on many different skin times over the years.
Mahalo,
Susan
